Light
The clear, direct light of the Spanish Mediterranean: defining space, colour, volume and silence.
Levante is the Spanish Mediterranean in its purest state: where time slows down, light defines space and life unfolds between calm and tradition.
From this sensibility, we curate art emerging from Spain’s Mediterranean coast, islands and culture, and present it within new international contexts where it finds renewed meaning.
Not as a trend, but as an authentic Spanish Mediterranean way of understanding beauty, rhythm and life.
A horizon shaped by light.
A culture shaped by the sea.
The Spanish Mediterranean · Curated in Spain
Levante presents works connected to Mallorca, Ibiza, Formentera, Valencia, Alicante, Murcia and Catalonia: Spanish Mediterranean territories linked by open horizons, intense light, white rock, pine trees, salt, silence and the Levante wind.
The landscape is not treated as scenery. It is a lived culture, a source of artistic language and a particular way of seeing.
The clear, direct light of the Spanish Mediterranean: defining space, colour, volume and silence.
Stone, lime, linen, wood, ceramic, salt and sea: materials rooted in Spain’s Mediterranean culture.
A slower rhythm shaped by tradition, conversation, open houses, long tables and life without haste.
A boat at rest. An open horizon. The silence of midday. Windows left open to the sea. Levante understands the Spanish Mediterranean not only as a place, but as a way of inhabiting time and experiencing beauty.
